Position Overview

We are looking for a founding Business Development leader to build and scale our DTC business in the U.S. market. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through both direct client acquisition and strategic partnerships, while establishing our market presence in the U.S. You will work closely with global leadership and cross-functional teams to bring integrated marketing and AI-driven solutions to DTC brands.


Key Responsibilities

1. Own U.S. Revenue Growth

● Drive end-to-end sales for DTC marketing solutions (media buying, growth strategy, creative, AI-driven tools)

● Identify, pitch, and close mid-to-large DTC brands

● Own pipeline development and revenue targets

2. Build Strategic Partnerships

● Develop partnerships with key ecosystem players (Meta, Google, TTD, Shopify, Kickstarter etc.)

● Design and execute referral or co-marketing programs

● Build long-term strategic alliances to drive lead generation

3. Develop U.S. Market Presence

• Represent the company at industry events and conferences

• Organize or co-host DTC-focused events

• Build relationships within the U.S. DTC ecosystem

4. Drive Client Success & Expansion

• Collaborate with account and operations teams to ensure delivery excellence

• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

• Act as the voice of the U.S. market internally


Qualifications

Must Have

• 5–8+ years in BD / partnerships / growth roles in DTC, eCommerce, or digital marketing

• Proven track record of closing high-value deals

• Deep understanding of Shopify ecosystem and paid media (Meta, Google, TikTok)

Nice to Have

• Existing network with DTC brands or founders in the U.S.

• Experience with agencies, MarTech, or growth platforms

• Cross-border business experience (China ↔ U.S.)

• Entrepreneurial mindset (comfortable with 0→1 ambiguity)

• Strong ownership and execution capability

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Ability to work independently with little supervision
