Finance Director
Finance Director (Bellevue, WA) Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures. Oversee preparation and management of budgets, forecasts and financial plans. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting are in line with US GAAP accounting standards. Analyze financial performance and variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Work with US Tax specialists and auditors on annual tax return filing and audit reports. Monitor key financial metrics and prepare reports to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Lead and mentor the finance team. Oversee the recruitment, training and development of finance staff. Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure accuracy of financial record. Coordinate and manage audits, liaising with external auditors as needed. Manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments. Communicate financial information and insight to investors, senior management, and board of directors, Audit Committee, and other stakeholders. Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to support decision-making. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. At least 5 years of progressive experience. BIG 4 audit experience involving audit and tax filing. Experience with 10Q, 10K, 8K filing; SEC rules and FASB guidance; SOX 404 testing and internal control documentation. Experience in dealing with Audit Committee and Board of Directors, translating IFRS to US GAAP reporting, process improvement or system implementation. Supervise 2 subordinates. Telecommuting is acceptable from home address in the U.S. Domestic or international travels at least 30% of the time in a year for 1-2 weeks per trip. Apply on our website here.
